I chose the Teparu because is represents my culture and it is a special memory I have. I also want to remember that unique experience I had as a year 3.
I used a wooden slab to lightly draw the outline of my picture.
After that I carefully chose my colours, I chose blue for the background because it wouldn't blend in with my Teparu and face.
The part I found challenging was painting the teparu, because it is detailed and I had to use a very small paintbrush.
